HADI’S HEALTH IMPROVES

KUALA TERENGGANU, April 11 (Bernama) — PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang’s health has improved following the mild stroke he suffered yesterday and he can leave the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital here soon. Muhammad Khalil, 31, the eldest son of the Marang MP and Rhu Rendang state assemblyman, said doctors have told his father to have plenty of rest. “I am not sure when my father can leave for home. I was told that he can leave the hospital soon,” he said when approached at the hospital this evening. Abdul Hadi, 61, was admitted to the hospital at about 7.30am yesterday after he suffered the stoke at about 5am. Abdul Hadi, who was approached at his ward, said: “I am okay. I have to have plenty of rest, that’s all.” The PAS president, who was seated on his bed, was cheerful as he received visits by politicians and members of the public.
